I think, like, the Universe is looking to test the Manager. Sure, sure, it could just be a byproduct of Plesant’s meddling down in the Keys, but over in the Everglades, there have been numerous reports of another out-of-place customer looking for a sweet treat. Family in the area have mentioned sightings of Loveland. Yes. That Loveland. Four feet tall, a bit green, and certainly wet behind his ears. The one from, well, Loveland, Ohio. Which is notably nowhere near the Everglades… but… Loveland is, I think, from the same region as Levi and his Locker.

Universal karma or not, this is an excellent opportunity for the Manager to make up for the whole… y’know, Perez situation. Now, I don’t actually know much about Loveland myself, at least nothing that isn’t already known by tourists. I’m not sure if he’s more of a Cafe or Diner type. I think he’s… well… hm. His name, his other name, his, uhm, what’s it called? Baltimore name? Right? It ends with “man.” Which typically indicates a more Diner-type customer. But, on the other hand, he’s kinda just a little guy. A Cafe type. I guess we’ll find out!

I wish the Big Guy was still with us, as I’m sure he would’ve known. But… I can’t allow myself to be tethered to the past and “what-ifs.” The point is that Loveland should be a super easy customer to serve, and all he’s looking for is a sweet Affogato. I’d love to head over to the Everglades with the Manager to take care of this guy. Payroll is obviously invited, too… but I know how much she thinks the Everglades is an “icky nasty swampy sweat fest.” Her words, not mine.
