He gave his usual cryptic spiel—though it sounds like he’s headed back to San Fran to set up shop again. We’ll probably need to shove him back into the Between as soon as possible as the Department doesn’t deal with his kind. As if we didn’t have enough on our plates… Caramel, if you don’t mind, try to intercept him on the 16th Floor, would you?

Mrs. Jejune: Ah, [Peppermint]. How... quaint, to find you here, amidst the squalor of Sacramento, bathed in the lunar light of a waning crescent—

Peppermint: Ah! Shit! Where’d you come from?

[Mrs. Jejune leaned in close, gripping Peppermint’s shoulder.]

Peppermint: Speaking of the “Between,” aren’t you supposed to be back in the Teal where you belong?
