DAMN IT! Are you serious?! I know those saucepan lids over in California aren’t the most experienced bunch, but this is supernatural warfare 101. Always destroy the cursed trinket. Always. What could have possibly possessed them not only to keep the Locket in one piece but to bloody throw it hammer and tack into the ocean?! If you’re going to keep something sentimental like, you need to put it somewhere safer than the bottom of the bloomin’ ocean where anyone can get their German bands on it. ESPECIALLY THE HAMPTON WICK WHO USED IT TO CORRUPT YOUR FRIEND IN THE DAMN DAMIEN HIRST PLACE!

What a mess. Lawds below help me—we’re going to have to play Cafe after all, aren’t we? If this is what our West Coast branch has to offer… we’re all a big bloody Barney Rubble, aren’t we? Mother’s pearly gate. Fantastic. Though I’m still not entirely sold on this whole Cafe thing, I will at least concede SOMEONE needs to grab the Everebon Locket before Umbra does. Doubt we have nickels or dimes to alert the Indigos—hell, I bet they figured the Third Cafe actually took proper care of it the first time ‘round.

Also… it just occurred to me, why is Umbra so keen on using that trinket? Doesn’t he have the Redman at his beck and call? What good is a human servant to him anyway? I suppose he did pull her strings up to Levi’s gills… but humans are far less predictable than demons are. I mean, take their bloody “8” throwing the Locket back into the bleedin’ ocean! Only a human would do something that ratheaded. Do you reckon the Redman’s term with the Hatman expired? From what my lovely golden dove has told me, he was bound until they found the Enochian Bible. Considering Umbra’s drastic moves, I’d reckon they did “find” it, yeah?</span>
